How Much Is a Nose Job  or How Much Does a it Cost?

After the article explaining what a nose surgery or job is, someone emailed us asking “how much is a nose surgical job?”

Well the cost varies depending on the specific requirements of a patient. The needs of one patient will essentially vary from that of another particularly in situations where the procedure is being performed for cosmetic reasons as opposed to health reasons. The cost will thus vary as easily as the needs of patients.

Nevertheless, the cost rhinoplasty varies from as low as $2,000 to as high as $10,000 depending on your needs. After a keen observation, I have also noted that the location of the plastic surgeon also has a significant influence on the cost of a nose job. At least that is my opinion based on my observation of real reviews on the Real Self portal.

The average cost as at the time of this writing is $6,775. This is based on an automated reporting derived from the reported prices by actual patients who are also members of the Real Self portal.

Now that we have answered the question ‘how much is a nose surgery or job?” (Or so I assume), here are some more tips that you may want to consider when selecting the appropriate plastic surgeon for your specific requirements:

Don’t base your judgment on the cost of the nose job alone: While it makes economic sense to shop around in order to get the best value for your money, using the cost alone to make your decision with regard to the surgeon to go for is not recommended.

In an interview with The Daily Mail, Dr. Roberts specifically warns against clinics that offer “cheap deals” such as free consultations that are then offered by a front person rather than the surgeon who will be performing the actual procedure. That is a definite No-No!

The importance one-on-one consultation with your plastic surgeon before the actual surgery is one thing that you should never overlook.

It is also advisable to check that the surgeon is accredited by the relevant board, e.g. the American society of Plastic surgeons and to check the surgeon’s before and after pictures of nose surgery or  job patients he has worked with before. If you ever feel like you are not sure about the surgeon, chances are that your instincts are right. You are better safe than sorry. Don’t be another story of a nose job gone wrong.

Your insurance company may not cover the cost (or full cost) of a nose surgery or job: A nose surgery or job can be done to achieve one of two purposes: to correct a medical defect (e.g. a deviated septum that interferes with normal breathing or makes nasal congestion an everyday problem) or to enhance someone’s appearance (e.g. by reducing the size of the nose or reshaping the nose to a desired look).

Most insurance company will not cover the cost if it is intended for the latter purpose. All in all, it is always a good idea to check with your insurance company before getting any nose surgical procedure done even if for medical purposes so as to have a clear picture of the extent of the cost they are willing to offset (could be the whole cost, facility fee, surgeon fee etc).

That is to mean that in addition to the question “how much is a nose surgical job?” you should also ask yourself “how much I my insurance company going to cover off the bill?”

How Much Does a Good Nose Job Cost

I was reading around on one of my favorite nose job forums searching for inspiration on what to write about when I came across the question, “How much does a good nose job cost?”

Well to be sincere that is a tricky question to ask because the results varies from one person to another and what someone may get contented with may not what another person appreciates.

The use of the term “good” thus makes it a very relative situation but with all the factors for choosing a good surgeon taken into account, you can expect to pay between $2,000 and $10,000 depending on your exact requirement and the location of your plastic surgeon.

How Much Does the Average Nose Job Cost?

The other day someone asked, “How much does the average nose job cost?” Well, assuming I am answering the right question, the average cost is $6,775. This is the average price as of the time of this writing based on the cost incurred by actual patients who have undergone the procedure as reported on the rhinoplasty section of the Real Self web community.

How Much Does a Non Surgical Nose Job Cost?

Surgical procedure is what immediately comes to the mind of most people when the term “nose job” is mentioned and it is vey easy to forget that there are as well non surgical jobs. So how much do non surgical nose jobs cost? The cost varies from $500 to $3,500 depending on the exact nature of the procedure required and the location of your surgeon.
